Central Texas Vet-Ride Program

The Central Texas Vet-Ride program will provide veterans and their dependents transportation services including daily, weekly, or monthly, ride-share services in local area in support of basic needs, work, school, medical appointments, or other non-social events or activities. The Central Texas Aging Disability and Veterans Resource Center in partnership with The HOP will utilize the Micro Transit Ride Share system for the TVC grant.

Transportation services are for the following:

  • Medical Appointments
  • Grocery Stores
  • School
  • Shopping
  • Federal, State, and Local Offices

Eligibility Status

  1. Must be a Veteran, Veteran spouse, unmarried widow, Veteran dependent children under age 18, or dependent with documented disability over age 18.
  2. Must Be a Resident of Texas
  3. Veteran Status: Honorably Discharged, General Discharge
